The question we were asked was to lead someone through a team building presses. I choose to talk about direction. one of the first things we talked about.
First direction gives identity to me who I am and how I will work with others to me sometimes matters on the direction we are given. direction in this case is both in our leadership and setting team goals. A leader good or bad will give clear direction even if his direction is for us to care only as much as he does. But in working with a team and everyone a possible leader our goals could be defined amongst the group well enough that we can direct ourselves. But every arrow that shows direction has an arrow and that arrow is a fine tip a single point a leader who stands there from the group can change, because like I said its also about goals. A goal is not finished. A goal is work, but a group with smaller parts or as a hole can make that work more effective. So in essence direction gets a team started keeps it on tract, and sets what it wants to do.

Asmt #21
In class we took a personality test. Our assignment is to say 3 things that are true from our results and one that is not. I got that I was a ISTP a form of Artisan called the crafter.
The first thing it starts out with is how much I love to work with my hands and use tools everytime I can get my hands on them, both in work and in play. Ever sense I can remember I have worked and played with everything my hands can touch. My favorite toy was Lego's and video games which uses hand eye coordination which is something else the crafter prides in. I have always said I will work in a field were I get to use my head quickly and my hands everyday. I find this to be very accurate even though they said I master everything I touch. maybe someday, but for now I find I am good at everything, but because I do not sit still I haven't truly mastered anything in my opinion.
The second thing is about friendships I have few true friends and respect about the same. I don't let others get to know me accurately, because I talk to people with my actions not my words. And I hide my emotions. In this way I love to be around those that I like even if I am not talking. And I will help them no matter what as long as I do not get distracted.
The third thing is about relationships and authority. which I find to be accurate, but dangerous as well. Because of my love for play and working with my hands most of the time I have to go past the regular rules to find my passions. This makes relationships and work interesting, because you don't know what I am going to do next and I don't talk about it. I don't follow regular rules in everything I am impulsive and feel like I must express myself. Therefor even though I get stressed rarly, do to an emotional nature. I can more easily by being constricted with my options, or having rules forced on me. I need freedom to do what I want with a equal minded found respect to do what others ask.
Last thing about what really does not fit is they didn't capture all of me. I couldn't find one thing that I would say a complete no to. It was how I have lived my life I have changed certain things to match my living. It says that if closed in I act out or get even. I did somewhat as a child, I think about how I would get even in somethings, but I don't find getting even a stress reliever. I like to work things out in my head and find something else to do. I don't think I act against others. The other part is that in ISTP both my IT vs my SP are unique in that my IT are in the 80% were as the SP are just on the higher side of 50% which meas I have little parts of NJ personality traits thrown in there.

Asmt # 20
Hi I am back I hope everyones break were fun.
Today in class we were looking over leadership personalities, our assinment is to tell how we would use and do use our leadership personalities to relate to guests, staff, and the development of camp.
First I should tell you that there are 4 types in the study we are doing that are regulated by amount of control vs emotions and the amount of asking vs telling. control or emotions is controling onesself and espressing there emotions, and to ask or tell is how you give comands. I am a high on tell vs ask, and mid low on emotion. The person type is called an Expresive leader. They speak there mind and try to relate to others. As with everything they have down sides the second part to knowing your personality is being versatile. Having the ability to understand and work with other leader types. The key is everyone can be a leader, one that speaks up or lets others work it out with guidence. The cool thing is while doing these tests I thought I was a analytical because of there quiet, yet controlled style which is the comple opposite of what my test showed. So afterwords it looks like I have been doing a good job of trying to be a versitale leader.
With working with guests to me is easy. In most cases I am asking them what they need or they are asking me what I can do. Helping them is easy because my power and athority is in relation to the camp and cross conflict has little impact. So as to upholding the rules and standards of camp I can help guest and lead by teaching and guideing them. With staff it is a little more tricky because my identity of power is almost unnessesary it comes down to who knows what they are doing, who is doing the lead role, and then what is the best way for me to help. As I have worked in many roles at camp and have the desire to step up and make my views known I can prevent someone else from wanting to lead. I know in the bible it tells of to lead you must know how to serve, because that is what a leader truly is doing what is best for the group with direction. So I can lead best at camp by working with others and incourageing them to work with me. The last thing is in development. As I know a basic understanding in maintanince I can take hold of many projects at camp and teach, guide, and incourage others by leading them and helping them to know what it is I know. To lead by example. And where I am lacking in ability ask to be taught and thank them for there knowlege. I also like working and leading the kids that come to camp which is camps best development towards the future and the best way to turn kids into leaders is to do and have them follow by wanting to.
